BARCELONA - The daughter of Cuban-Argentine guerrilla Ernesto 'Che' Guevara, said that the film 'The Motorcycle Diaries', based on her father's trips through Latin America as a young man, is 'very faithful' to reality.

Aleida Guevara, who is in Catalonia at the invitation of several non-governmental organizations that support Cuba, told journalists that she was happy with the film because it brings "the figure of Che much closer to young people".

She recalled that Robert Redford, the movie's executive producer "very kindly brought the film to Havana, where we were the first to see it".

Aleida, the oldest of Che and Aleida March's four children and currently a pediatrician in Havana, said that she has "very few family memories" but that those she does recall all serve to point up her father's significance.
