BARCELONA - Ten new acts of vandalism were registered Thursday in connection with the ongoing strike by Barcelona bus drivers, bringing the total to 97 since the protest began on 21 December, public transportation authorities reported.

Workers of Transportes Metropolitanos de Barcelona are demanding the right to two days off a week, and blocking buses trying to cover emergency services. While employers say the strike is "unjustified," workers said they will return to the streets today.
