Andalusian heat sparks orange alert warning

MADRID - The Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued an "orange alert" for the Andalusian provinces of Seville, Córdoba and Jaén as temperatures are expected to reach 40 degree Celsius on Monday.
Three other Andalusian provinces are also under "orange alert," while a "yellow alert" has also been issued in 13 provinces throughout the country.
Maximum temperatures are also expected to rise to 38 degree Celsius in Cáceres, Badajoz, Toledo, Ciudad Real, Huelva, Cádiz and Granada. In Madrid and Zaragoza, where temperatures are to reach 37 degree Celsius, a "yellow alert" has also been put in place.
