Learning how to fry an egg the Spanish way It’s no wonder why the fried egg is one of the most basic and well-loved dishes in Spanish cuisine when you do it the right way.

One of the favourite basic dishes in Spain is fried egg with bread. It is only perfect when the egg is fried in hot olive oil and has a lightly crisped puffed-up white and a juicy and runny yolk. 
 

Here, José M Valderrama, founder and owner of the Valderrama Olive Oil factory and restaurant in the province of Toledo, shows us how to prepare the simple Spanish cuisine.
