Lago, Casa de Campo

This is the place to see and be seen. With three pools, grassy areas, bars and restaurants you certainly won’t be bored, or boiled. (NB: The upper pool is an informal gay area).

Aquópolis

This is more than a pool; it’s a whole water park with a selection of water slides and other great rides. Look out for vertical super slides, black-holes, zig-zags, fast rivers, lake adventures, wave pools and even an extensive children's area. A new attraction to the park this year is the TVs, meant for parents who don’t want to miss their favourite sporting event while supervising the kids!

Torre de Les Aigües

This is a children’s pool with shallow water in the heart of the city. The Gardens of Torre de Les Aigues means Water Tower Gardens because of the old water tower.

Open Mon-Saturday 10am to 8pm, Sundays 10am to 3pm

Bernat Picornell swimming pools

This swimming centre has three different pools. A heated indoor pool, a competition pool and a diving pool (temporarily closed). Originally built in the 1970s and refurbished for the 1992 Olympic Games, this facility also provides a fitness centre, jacuzzis, saunas  and has good disabled access.

Indoor pools: Monday to Friday: 6:45am to 12am Sunday and public holidays in summer months: 7:30am to 8pm
Outdoor pools: Monday to Saturday 9am to 9pm Sunday and public holidays 9am to 8pm.

Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc: Swimming in the clouds

Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc

This pool was built specifically for the 1992 Olympic Games’ diving competition. It’s mainly known for its spectacular panoramic views of the city. It may not be considered the most visitor-friendly with its lack of deck chairs for lounging or refreshments on sale but it’s still worth the visit at least for the view.

Open daily from July to August from 11am to 6:30pm
