Unconventional Easter eggs Children in Madrid taking part in an Easter egg colouring competition exhibit their creativity.

An Easter egg colouring competition organised by www.kidsinmadrid.com has witnessed the birth of some creative artwork of young children in Madrid.

The competition, which ended on 7 April 2009, received many beautiful and wonderful drawings of Easter eggs. The three winning entries will receive a special gift certificate from PEKIDS, a bookshop which offers workshops (some in English), storytelling, children events, and small birthday celebrations, located in Sanchinarro.

Website owner Paloma Irving confessed she had a difficult time deciding on the winning entries.

“The variety and creativity received has been surprising and delightful. From Spiderman Eggs to traditional beautifully coloured in eggs, the decision has not been easy,” said Irving.

“Nevertheless a decision had to be made but I would like to stress that all the entries in my opinion are winners.”

The three winning entries are:

Overall winner - Alicia aged 4:

Jaime aged 7:

Martin aged 5:
