SEVILLE - Two women were killed and 11 people injured overnight in the southern Spanish town of Alcala de Guadaira during a heavy rainstorm, officials said Wednesday.
One of the women was found dead under a car, while the other was believed to have been killed when her home was hit by a bus, emergency services were quoted as saying.
The town near Seville was almost completely under water. Dozens of houses were inundated, and dozens of cars were swept away by currents.
