ALMERIA — One man has died and three others were seriously injured when a convertible Ferrari and a Porsche crashed near Almeria, southern Spain, on Friday.
The 40-year-old who was killed was a foreigner but his nationality has not been established.
The two cars collided while they were driving in the same direction along the A-7 motorway towards El Ejido.
The other occupant of the Ferrari was thrown out and the car burst into flames after crashing.
The driver died instantly during the crash.
The passenger, a man in his 30s, was seriously injured and is in a critical state in hospital.
A couple, aged 28 and 27, were travelling in the Porsche. They are being treated in hospital but the state of their conditions is not known.
The accident happened at about 5am, but the cause still remains unclear, said the Civil Guard.
