SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE - Popular Party leader Mariano Rajoy continued to drive his "get-tough policy" on immigration Wednesday by telling an election campaign rally in Tenerife that Spain was letting in too many illegal immigrants.

"Everyone who wants to, cannot enter this country at will," he said. "There's not enough room for all of us." All those that wanted to enter Spain should do so with a work contract, he added.

Meanwhile, a report by the Bank of Spain forecasts that the country will receive between 517,000 and 584,000 foreign workers during the period 2007-15.
