Expat in the City is a one-day expat fair with information and inspiration for all internationals living in Munich, with guests and businesses seeking to make life in Munich easier and much more fun. Questions about topics such as finance, insurance, education, day care, expat life in Munich, career development and fun things to do in the area can all be answered at the fair—all in one day and all under one roof! A programme full of workshops, expert talks and entertainment will ensure that you leave the expat fair with all the information you need, and the inspiration to enjoy life in Munich to the fullest.
At the fair, you will also find plenty of opportunities to meet and mingle with other expats during the various workshops, expert talks or in the Biergarten. The extensive programme includes presentations about searching for a job, house hunting, improv acting, learning a language, understanding insurance in Germany, things to do for kids or how to do taxes.
The City of Munich, BMW Welt München, Expatica DE, IHK Müchen und Oberbayern, Invest in Bavaria, International School Augsburg, Henley Business School and Region Augsburg are proud supporters of the Expat in the City Fair.
“In my capacity as patron, I am looking forward to the fair and would like to extend a warm welcome to all our visitors,” said Josef Schmid, Deputy Mayor of Munich. “Indeed, our support for ‘Expat in the City’ is one of many ways in which Munich's local government wishes to welcome all international skilled workers and residents to Munich.”
