Berlin – A University of Goettingen survey in which 32,000 German men and women were questioned showed that some Germans use work as a distraction from a limited or non-existant sex life.

35 percent of the Germans reporting an unsatisfying sex life admitted spending extra time at the office and volunteering for additional assignments.

Volunteering for more responsibilities was even more pronounced, 45 percent, among those reporting no sex at all.

The leader of the study, Ragnar Beer, said he found these results “worrying”.
