28 September 2006, MUNICH - A Hungarian airliner sustained minor damage Thursday in a collision just before takeoff from Munich international airport in Germany. The jetliner, carrying 46 people, had just swung onto the runway to take off when a cargo aircraft brushed a stabilizer winglet. Police said no one was injured and they did not yet know the precise extent of the damage. Neither plane was flyable, and the Budapest-bound passengers had to be taken back to the Munich terminal while efforts were made

MUNICH - A Hungarian airliner sustained minor damage Thursday in a collision just before takeoff from Munich international airport in Germany.

The jetliner, carrying 46 people, had just swung onto the runway to take off when a cargo aircraft brushed a stabilizer winglet.

Police said no one was injured and they did not yet know the precise extent of the damage. Neither plane was flyable, and the Budapest-bound passengers had to be taken back to the Munich terminal while efforts were made to arrange replacement transport for them.
