Student evades exam by making bomb threats

13 September 2007, Heidelberg (dpa) - A German dental student afflicted with exam nerves forced the cancellation of a test by making bomb threats, police in the south-western city of Heidelberg said Thursday.

Heidelberg (dpa) - A German dental student afflicted with exam nerves forced the cancellation of a test by making bomb threats, police in the south-western city of Heidelberg said Thursday.

The 31-year-old woman phoned two separate threats through to a clinic attached to the famous university in the city on Tuesday.

Police said the student had confessed to making the threats.

The student is being kept in custody and has to pay the police costs involved totalling 10,000 euros (14,000 dollars.)
