26 June 2006, KAISERSLAUTERN - Six youths and men were detained by police at a fan zone in Kaiserslautern late Saturday for giving the Hitler salute - a punishable offence in Germany.

KAISERSLAUTERN - Six youths and men were detained by police at a fan zone in Kaiserslautern late Saturday for giving the Hitler salute - a punishable offence in Germany.

The six were all local, police said. They were among 13 people detained briefly and then released after identity checks following the Germany-Sweden match. All face prosecution.
