20 May 2005, NUREMBERG - German electrical engineering concern Siemens said on Friday it has won an order to build the luggage forwarding system for the Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA).

NUREMBERG - German electrical engineering concern Siemens said on Friday it has won an order to build the luggage forwarding system for the Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA).

The order, for the company's Logistics and Assembly Systems division based in Nuremberg, is worth EUR 170 million, Siemens said.

The luggage unit will be installed at the BCIA's new Terminal 3 and go into operation by the end of 2007, the company said.
