Schroeder to visit six Arab Gulf states

31 January 2005, BERLIN - German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder will visit six Arab Gulf states later this month for talks aimed at deepening political and economic ties, the government said on Monday in a statement. Schroeder will visit Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Yemen, the United Arab Emirates from 27 February to 5 March, said the statement. The Chancellor will be accompanied by senior German business leaders on his trip, the statement said.
