BERLIN - Britain's Queen Elizabeth II will have talks next month with German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder during a state visit to Germany, the government said Wednesday in a statement.

The queen, accompanied by Prince Philip, will also meet Germany's mainly ceremonial president, Horst Koehler, during her 2 to 4 November trip, said the statement.

Queen Elizabeth is scheduled to visit the eastern German city of Potsdam where she will make stops at Cecilienhof Palace - where Soviet, US and British leaders held the Potsdam Conference in 1945 to decide Germany's fate after the Nazi defeat.

She will also take part in benefit concert to raise funds for completing the rebuilt Frauenkirche in Dresden which was destroyed in the 1945 firebombing of Dresden by U.S. and British planes, said the British embassy in a statement.
