Berlin -- German producers of rocket salad are facing ruin after a poisonous look-alike found its way into a supermarket packet and sparked a scare last week, an agency representing farmers said Wednesday.

"Producers are finished. The market has completely collapsed in the past eight days and we are no longer delivering a thing," Josef Schlaghecken from the DLR agency in Rhineland-Palatinate state told AFP.
