Munich (dpa) - A Bulgarian and a Romanian are the winners in a competition styling itself the "International Bottom Championships" held in Munich Wednesday.

Kristina Dimitrova, 19, and Andrei Andrei, 24, each took home 10,000 euros (14,400 dollars) in prize money, a modelling contract - and an insurance policy on their winning assets.

A lingerie maker funded the competition, which drew 15,000 entrants from 26 countries, who had to send in photographs of their rear-ends, with the only stipulation that they be covered.

"We didn't want the bare facts," spokeswoman Anne Raab said.

The jury included English lingerie model Sophie Anderton, German fitness expert Karsten Schellenberg and US choreographer Marvin A. Smith.
