Muenster, Germany (dpa) - A drunk who fell asleep on his car hooter in the northern German city of Muenster in the early hours of Sunday morning faces a string of charges after irritated locals called the police.

Police laid charges of disturbing the peace and drunken driving, before noticing the 36-year-old had demolished a five-metre length of wall and damaged two cars in his attempt to find a parking place.

As a first step they confiscated his driver's licence.
