The 25-year-old singer, who performs using the name Massiv, was standing next to his car in the suburb of Neukoelln when he was approached by a masked man on Monday evening.
The man said something which the singer did not understand then pulled a gun and fired three times, hitting him in the shoulder.
The assailant fled and the rapper was taken to hospital for treatment but discharged a short time later.
