HAMBURG - Neo-Nazi spam inundated hundreds of thousands of computer e-mail accounts across Germany Thursday, directing Internet users to extremist hate websites, authorities said.

Federal investigators launched an effort to trace the e-mails, which were said to have jammed inboxes of some users to capacity.

The e-mails contained anti-Semitic and racist content along with links to neo-Nazi websites around the world.
