NATO chief says Libya mission 'as long as necessary'
NATO's military mission in Libya will continue "for as long as is necessary," the alliance's head Anders Fogh Rasmussen said on Thursday in Berlin at a meeting of its foreign ministers.
"We are committed to providing all necessary resources and maximum operational flexibility within our mandate," he said. "The high operational tempo against legitimate targets will be maintained and we will exert this pressure as long as necessary."
