"What is this?" you ask: Each class begins with a physical warm-up that involves guided explorations. In these explorations we play with imagery as we investigate qualities of movement, range-of-motion, and inner-outer focus. (No dance experience necessary as you will be given the tools you need in order to work with movement and space.) A writing warm-up follows. Further, more in-depth movement explorations then serve as a source for  playing with word, sound, metaphor, associations, stories and various structures. Each class usually includes both self-observation and the observation of a partner. At the end we share portions of our writing via a small showingor reading. Come and play! We would be most happy to have you.
