BADEN-BADEN - England's decision to restrict the number of fans at the team's only public training session to 250 children seems to have soured residents of the tiny town of Buehlertal.

Initially, over 1,000 fans were expected to be allowed watch Tuesday's training session, but the England Football Association decided to only allow members of the SV Buehlertal club that is providing the practice site.

The decision has caused a degree of resentment in this rural idyll. By Thursday, all England flags hanging from the windows and balconies of houses on the hill road up to the secluded sports ground had been removed and replaced with German ones.
