BERLIN - A group of about 20 demonstrators chained themselves to the railings of the Iranian embassy in Berlin on Tuesday in protest at Iran's nuclear policy.

The protesters, all of them Iranians living in exile, carried banners which read "No Nuclear Arms for Iran." They also distributed leaflets to passers-by.

Police used metal-cutters to end the protest and led away the demonstrators for questioning.

A police spokesman said they could face charges of violating the laws governing assembly.
