05 September 2007, KARLSRUHE (AFP) - Three men arrested in Germany were planning to attack airports, bars and discotheques popular with Americans, Federal Prosecutor Monika Harms said on Wednesday.

KARLSRUHE (AFP) - Three men arrested in Germany were planning to attack airports, bars and discotheques popular with Americans, Federal Prosecutor Monika Harms said on Wednesday.

"As possible targets for the attacks, the suspects named discotheques and pubs and airports frequented by Americans," Harms told a press conference.

She said two of the men were Germans and a third had Turkish nationality.
