31 October 2005, BERLIN - German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer on Sunday expressed the Berlin government's strong condemnation of the wave of bomb attacks in New Delhi.

BERLIN - German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer on Sunday expressed the Berlin government's strong condemnation of the wave of bomb attacks in New Delhi.

He described Saturday's attacks which killed 59 persons and wounded 114, as insidious.

"These acts of indiscriminate of violence which showed contempt for human beings could not be justified," Fischer said in a statement in Berlin.

A foreign office spokesman that so far there was no evidence that German citizens were among the victims of the bombings.
