PRAGUE - A German tour bus and a truck collided Thursday morning on a Czech Republic motorway, injuring 32 people, rescue officials told local media.

The bus driver was among eight people listed in serious condition after the crash on the D1 motorway about 40 kilometres southeast of Prague.

Ambulances and three helicopters ferried victims to hospitals in Prague and three nearby towns.

The front of the bus collided with the rear of the truck, but the exact cause of the crash has not been determined.
