NUREMBERG - Latest unemployment data for May due for release on Tuesday will show that German joblessness declined by around 125,000 while remaining above four million, job market experts predicted Monday.

The analysts said that the Nuremberg-based Federal Labour Agency (BA) will report an unadjusted level of 4.32 million unemployed for May, down a slight 25,000 from May 2003 figures.

In April, the office had reported 4,443,400 unemployed in Germany, down by 104,100 from March, for a rate of 10.7 percent. But the more closely-watched figure after seasonal adjustments rose in April by 23,000 to 4.367 million.
