German central bank forecasts growth of 2.0 percent in 2011
The German economy, Europe's biggest, should grow by 2.0 percent next year and by 1.5 percent in 2012, the central bank forecast Friday, with strong exports boosting internal demand as well.
For 2010, the Bundesbank also estimated that economic activity would expand by 3.6 percent, which would be a record since German reunification in 1990.
"The German economic recovery should continue in the next two years following the dynamic rebound this year," a statement said.
