German airspace will be fully reopened from 0900 GMT Wednesday following days of chaos due to volcanic ash, the country's air safety agency said.

Eleven of the country's 16 international airports are already open, a spokeswoman told AFP, with the rest expected to resume operations by 0900 GMT.
