TURIN, ITALY - German athletes at the Turin Winter Olympic can finally compete with their national colours in the correct order on their caps after the initial head gear supplied to the team carried the Belgian flag.

Sports goods manufacturers Adidas said the new caps were produced over the past 48 hours in Switzerland and delivered to the athletes early Thursday.

The caps now have the national colours in the correct black-red- gold order. The first caps were black-gold-red which is the Belgian flag order, an embarrassing mistake by Adidas.
