Frankfurt (dpa) - Fraport, the operator of Europe's third biggest airport in Frankfurt, projected Tuesday a 1.5 percent to 2.0 percent increase in passenger traffic this year.

This compares to a previous forecast of a 1.0 to 2.0 per cent rise.

Fraport is currently in the process of building a new terminal to help boost capacity at the airport, which ranks behind London Heathrow and Paris' Charles de Gaulle in terms of passenger numbers.
