BERLIN - Four Germans were injured in Thursday's London bomb blasts, including one seriously, German government spokesman Thomas Steg said Friday.

In the wake of the terrorist attacks on London, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the head of Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder's office, chaired a meeting Friday of key officials in Berlin, including representatives of the Interior, Justice and Defence ministries as well as from the intelligence service.

More than 700 people were injured and more than 50 people lost their lives in the attacks that rocked central London during Thursday's morning rush hour, British police said Friday.
