7 May 2004 , BERLIN - German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer will travel to Washington on Monday for talks with Bush administration officials on the Mideast conflict, his office announced Friday. During his visit to the US capital, Fischer will confer with Secretary of State Colin Powell and National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, along with members of Congress.

BERLIN - German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer will travel to Washington on Monday for talks with Bush administration officials on the Mideast conflict, his office announced Friday.

During his visit to the US capital, Fischer will confer with Secretary of State Colin Powell and National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice, along with members of Congress.


On Wednesday he will return to Europe for Franco-German consultations in Paris ahead of next Friday's G-8 foreign ministers meeting in Washington.
