LONDON - Two England football supporters who displayed Nazi insignia during last Saturday's World Cup match against Paraguay have been arrested on their return to Britain, police said Tuesday.

The men, 21 and 24, from Bolton, Greater Manchester, were detained Monday night after landing at Leeds airport.

They were held overnight and could appear in court later.

British prosecutors are in Germany for the World Cup tournament and are passing information about arrested fans to the authorities in England with a view to them seeking football banning orders.

The two Britons displayed insignia of the dreaded Nazi SS (Schutzstaffel) elite unit during the match.
