Wearing an 8-kilogram Elvis Presley jumpsuit plus wig, Nuebel began his marathon with "Viva Las Vegas" at a bar in the village of Kall at 5 a.m. Thursday, setting the new record at 11.17 p.m. Friday.

"I'm overjoyed but am going to sleep for two days," a croaky- voiced Nuebel said.
