Drunk German drives to police to report theft

7 December 2006, Erfurt (dpa) - A drunk 29-year-old woman drove to a police station to report that her handbag had been stolen, police in Erfurt, central Germany said Thursday. The woman, whose car had been broken into, was tested for alcohol and found to be over the limit. She was brought back to her home by police while her car was left at the station.
