Waiblingen, Germany (dpa) - A woman who passed off a fake 1,000-euro banknote in a German shop to obtain cosmetics and cash change later returned with a box of chocolates to reward the gullible saleslady, police said Friday.

The euro currency does not have any 1,000-euro note. The fake bill had images of nude women on it.

Police are hunting for the woman, who obtained about 200 euros' worth of cosmetics at the shop near Waiblingen, south-western Germany, and some 800 euros in change.

The suspect coolly returned to the shop bringing the gift several minutes later, saying she wanted to say thank you for the helpful information.
