30 November 2004, BAGHDAD - Interim Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi leaves for a trip on Wednesday which is to take in Jordan, Germany and Russia. Speaking to the interim national council, Allawi said the trip was aimed at strengthening bilateral relations with Iraq's strategic partners. Allawi said other topics to be discussed will include Iraq's debts and the development of the Iraqi oil sector. Interim ministers of oil and power, in addition to other technocrats, are expected to join Allawi's tour. All

BAGHDAD - Interim Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi leaves for a trip on Wednesday which is to take in Jordan, Germany and Russia.

Speaking to the interim national council, Allawi said the trip was aimed at strengthening bilateral relations with Iraq's strategic partners.

Allawi said other topics to be discussed will include Iraq's debts and the development of the Iraqi oil sector.

Interim ministers of oil and power, in addition to other technocrats, are expected to join Allawi's tour.

Allawi is also expected to meeting with exiled Iraqi opposition leaders in Amman.
