Air Berlin expands Mallorca connections

6 July 2004 , BERLIN - German low-fare airline Air Berlin has plans for a strong expansion of its services to the Spanish vacation island of Mallorca, with further services from there on to Portugal and the Spanish mainland. Starting 1 November, Air Berlin will offer daily services to Palma de Mallorca from the airports Berlin-Tegel, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, Hanover, Cologne, Munich, Muenster, Nuremberg, Paderborn and Stuttgart. BERLIN - German low-fare airline Air Berlin has plans for a strong expansion of its services to the Spanish vacation island of Mallorca, with further services from there on to Portugal and the Spanish mainland.

Starting 1 November, Air Berlin will offer daily services to Palma de Mallorca from the airports Berlin-Tegel, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, Hanover, Cologne, Munich, Muenster, Nuremberg, Paderborn and Stuttgart.

From Palma de Mallorca, the Berlin carrier will offer flights to Porto in Portugal and to the Spanish cities of Bilbao and Murcia.

Also starting by 1 November, Air Berlin is planning twice-daily flights from Dusseldorf to Warsaw. The airline already serves the Italian capital Rome with non-stop flights from Dusseldorf.
