Expatica Communications B.V. is a born-global media company that began in 2000 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

 

It started as a news and information site for internationals and quickly expanded to encompass a much broader resource for internationals living abroad. Within a few years of its origination, Expatica also expanded geographically to include Belgium, France, Spain and Germany. Switzerland has recently been added to the list, with the site’s launch in December 2007.
