Whether you love modern art or hate it, you'll enjoy what happens when it is re-interpreted with a Swiss sense of organisation.Have you ever looked at modern art and thought that it was the product of a disordered mind? What were those artists thinking with all their crazy blotches of color and wild lines?
Obviously, what's needed here is some Swiss organisation to tidy things up a bit. Swiss comedian/experimental artist Ursus Wehrli has tidied up several famous paintings, including works by Paul Klee and Joan Miró.
He deconstructs the elements of the artwork -- brushstrokes, shapes and lines -- and sorts them neatly, creating something new from the pieces.
The idea came to him after observing a hotel’s meticulous maid service, which would transform his cluttered room into a tidiness mecca every day. He asked himself how Van Gogh’s famous “Bedroom” would look if the maid service crew could get their hands on it.
