How to drive your dog crazy Fancy your dog in a traditional Bavarian Dirndl costume? Bavarian designer Hildegard Bergbauer, who creates Dirndl dresses for women, also makes and sells Dirndl outfits for home pets and horses.

Since 2004, Hildegard Bergbauer designs and tailors about 30 various models of traditional Bavarian-style Dirndl dresses, Lederhosen (leather trousers), loden coats or hats for dogs.  She has installed a flat for her dogs with beds, tables, chairs, pictures, carpet's and windows with curtains.

She was inspired to create the outfits by watching stage shows as a youngster.
