The English Comedy Club in Munich is hosting its final show before the summer break. June 2 sees Australian and British performers take to the stage.

The English Comedy Club is in English but not just for English people. Monday 2 June sees their last show before the summer break with a lineup of comics from Australia and the UK. If you have trouble coming to terms with German comedy this could be a welcome release.

With a likeable laconic style to draw you in and biting social commentary, Australian Wayne Deakin will have you laughing and thinking. As well as his solo Melbourne Comedy Festival shows, Wayne was chosen to open for Jimmy 'JJ' Walker (Good Times) and support Kenny Kramer (Seinfeld) in the Kramer All Stars tour. His New York tours included consecutive nights at Carolines, New Yorks premier comedy venue and headlining New York Improv. Wayne also opened for Corey Holkum (finalist 2004 Last Comic Standing) at Connecticut's Mohegan Sun Casino. Performing at the Montreal Comedy Festival and doing a week as MC at the world famous Laff Trax in Las Vegas are current career highlights. Wayne also performed in front of 10,000 people at 2006 the Meredith Music Festival and 14,000 at The Falls Festival in 2005.

British comic Zoe Lyon created a huge buzz on the  circuit in 2004 when she won the 'Funny Women Award 2004' and reached the finals of 'Channel 4's So You Think You're Funny' in the same year. As a result she has become a highly sought after act on both the national and international circuit. Zoe Lyon takes a sideways view of life, picking out the many absurdities and turning them into hilarious routines which she delivers with tremendous energy, drawing on her acting skills to provide a kaleidoscope of voices and faces throughout the act. After completing a degree in Psychology at York University, Zoe discovered her love of performing. She trained as an actress at The Poor School in London and later appeared in several stage shows.
