'Schnitzel Stephan' sentenced to 18 months 03/08/2007 00:00

Berlin (DPA) – A 43-year-old unemployed German man who likes to go on eating binges then duck the bill was sentenced to 18 months in jail by a Berlin court for cheating more than 60 restaurants in the past year.
He was already on probation for ducking previous bills.
The large man who weighs 160 kilograms would go to restaurants and order steak or Wiener Schnitzel, and of course, beer. After, he would run – or occasionally admit he is broke.
The damage to restaurants totals 3,000 euros.
