Sittensen, Germany (dpa) - The mass of forensic evidence against two suspects in a February massacre at an Asian restaurant in Germany has mounted, but police said they were still seeking proof that the two Vietnamese detainees had accomplices.

Seven people were found shot dead in the Lin Yue restaurant in the small northern town of Sittensen including the Scottish Chinese owner, Danny Wing Hong Fan, 36, and staff from Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand.

Police, who earlier said they had found specks of blood linking one accused to the scene, said Monday they had also found tiny fibres on both suspects' clothing that definitely came from the crime scene and the victims.

Police scientists were examining 3,000 seized items for evidence about possible accomplices. Police have yet to say if they believe organized crime was involved in the attack.

The suspects, 31 and 33, were detained February 5 on a country road while driving a rental car a day after the killings at the neat restaurant which was a popular eating spot in the country town. The attack shook the Asian community in Germany.
