Senegals Muslim spiritual chief dies

Serigne Mouhamadou Lamine Bara Mback, the spiritual chief of the Muslim brotherhood in Senegal has died. He was 85 years old. Mbacke died of natural causes on 30 June in the city of Touba, considered to be a holy city for Muslims. Prime Minister Souleymane Ndene Ndiaye announced Mbacke’s death over state radio.
