A diplomat says that Russian and Georgian officials return to talks Tuesday after a walkout Monday.

GENEVA - Russia and Georgia resumed talks in Geneva on Tuesday, despite a breakdown Monday that threatened to weaken the talks aimed at easing tension between the two countries, a diplomat said.

"All the participants" including the delegations from the breakaway Georgian territories of Abkhazia and South Ossetia entered the negotiating room, the diplomat told AFP.
